How To Organize Your Kitchen Drawers

I can never seem to have enough room in my kitchen.  I keep tossing things in my kitchen drawers until there is no more room.

If your kitchen is like mine it could use some organization.  So here are some great tips I found useful and now my kitchen drawers are nice and neat!

TIP #1: Pull out everything in your drawers and throw out anything you no longer use or need.

TIP #2: Store things like batteries, tools, screwdrivers, and light bulbs in the laundry room or garage.

TIP #3:  Store long handled utensils in a utensil holder and sit on your counter or hang your utensils on hooks near your stove.

TIP #4:  Keep a caddy on the counter or kitchen table to store silverware.

TIP #5:  Hang hooks inside a cabinet door to store measuring cups and other small items.

TIP #6:  Place hooks inside a door to hang placemats. Store placemats in large plastic bags held by binding clips.

TIP #7:  Mount kitchen wrap caddies and dispensers to kitchen doors to store aluminum foil, plastic wrap and wax paper.

TIP #8:  Add a hanging shelf under a cabinet or inside a cabinet for extra storage space for napkins,  and kitchen towels.

TIP #9:  Install a magnetic strip behind a counter for knives. Make sure no one can accidentally come in contact with them and that they are out of reach for children.

TIP #10:  Go to the wall.  Look for spaces you can hang hooks to store keys, potholders, and other items.

I hope these help!  If you have any ideas you would like to share, we would love to hear them!  Just leave them in the comments below!
