This cute eggshell planter will make a cute addition to any patio! Plant seeds according to package instructions, and nestle planters in an egg carton on a sunny windowsill, or outside. When plants have grown to about 3 inches they are ready to be transplanted to the garden. Remove from the eggshells before planting them in a garden or flower pot.

We’re doing this now with veggie seeds. I saw the idea on Pinterest I think. But the instructions I saw, they said to just crack the eggshells right before you plant them to let the roots spread through and the eggshells add minerals to the soil.
