Instant Pot Carrots with Green Beans
Steamed carrots cooked in an Instant Pot for 5 minutes combined with green beans. This is a quick and healthy side dish for your meals.
Preparing a meal has never been so easy with an Instant Pot. These carrots are cooked in the Instant Pot for 5 minutes and make a perfect side dish to your Sunday dinner.
How Long Do I Cook The Carrots
I like my carrots soft so I cooked them for 5 minutes.
If you like your carrots a little on the crisp side cook them about 2-3 minutes.
How Do I Steam Carrots
There are two ways you can stem carrots in an Instant Pot.
First, you will add one cup of water.
One way to steam carrots is to put your carrots (or vegetables) in a basket and sit on top of a trivet. This way keeps the carrots from touching the water.
The second way is to place the carrots in the water. This is how I cooked mine. They came out very tender and soft, just the way I like them.
You can also use these Instant Pot accessories to make your cooking easier.
What Can I Serve With Instant Pot Carrots
You can serve these carrots by their self or add a can of green beans and olive oil like I did.

- Green beans
