Google Analytics for your Blog {blog tips}

Do you have Google Analytics set up for you blog?  If you like to tract your blog statistics you will definitely want this for your site.  You will be able to tract your visitors broken down by “posts”, how many visitors viewed that post, how many visitors landed on that post, unique visitors per visit not just the number of pages they viewed.  You can break this down by month, week, day and even by minutes.

You can also tract where the visitor’s came from, which tells you how they found your blog post or page.  This is great if you are doing any kind of advertising or trying to promote your blog on other websites.  This will tell you how many visitors came from those websites.

For instructions on how to set it up try visiting this post or this one.

    I’ve set this up a while ago, only thing I would have liked, was if it showed data from the time you started your blog, which is doesn’t, 🙁
