DIY Thread Roller

on May 20, 2014

Hello and thank you for joining me for this weeks Sew Organized Craft Room feature! Today I’m featuring how to use hair rollers to pick up loose thread.

It’s made from a lint roller brush. Just slide 2 hair rollers onto the lint roller brush and you have a handly little gadget to pick up loose threads. I seem to make a big mess when I sew, I have thread and supplies everywhere. When I’m done sewing I just use my handy thread roller and roll it on the carpet to pick up of all the thread. Saves me having to get out the vacuum cleaner every time!

Shut the front door!! This is perfect for when I have tread all over. I'm a bit messy when I sew! But this is exactly what my hubby needs for his black shorts that collect a lot of fuzz, too. He was ready to throw them out to the trash! (I wouldn't let him... they were over a $100!) Putting this on the list for when I head to the pro hair store to get my stuff today, pinning!

It's a nifty little tool to have around! I found the rollers at the dollar store, so don't pay too much for them!! :) I hope it saves a pair of shorts!!
