Best Buttermilk Apple Pie Pancakes with Cinnamon and Whip Cream

These Buttermilk Apple Pie Pancakes make a perfect {dessert} for breakfast!  You get the delicious buttermilk pancake flavor and the apple filling makes them taste like apple pie.  Top them with whip cream and it’s like having dessert for breakfast!

Best Buttermilk Apple Pie Pancakes with cinnamon and whip cream

Yield: 6-8 pancakes
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

Delicious homemade buttermilk pancakes with apple pie filling. These make a perfect dessert for breakfast!

Ingredients

  • Homemade Buttermilk Pancake Recipe
  • 1 Cup Apple Pie filling diced up-not full apple slices. Chop them up in a food processor or blender.
  • Butter for griddle
  • Cool Whip
  • Use remaining apple pie filling to top pancakes with. You can chop up remainder of apples in a processor or keep them as is.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Homemade Buttermilk Pancake recipe and add in 1 cup apple pie filling.
  2. Warm griddle, test if ready by putting a few drops of water on griddle. If water bounces or spatters on griddle, it is ready.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon butter onto griddle, then pour about 1/2 cup batter onto griddle. When pancake starts to form bubbles on top, turn.
  4. Heat oven to 175. Keep pancakes warm in oven until they are ready to serve.
  5. When ready to serve top each pancake with apple pie filling, a dash of cinnamon, and whip cream.

Notes

Top with cool whip and cinnamon.
