A plate stand made from decorative plates to hold craft or sewing supplies.

It’s time for our Tuesday SEW Organized craft room feature!  We are using  2 plates and a candle holder to make a 2-Tier Plate Stand for craft supplies.

Simply use 2 plates and a candle holder.  Glue top of candle holder and place onto plates.  I used a hot glue gun. You can also use epoxy glue or E6000 adhesive.  I don’t like the strong smell of those glues so that’s why I used hot glue.

If you use the other glues be sure you are in a well ventilated area!

I love this idea, I actually have a saucer {no cup} in my bathroom holding rings and things. I use them in my kitchen for small plants, or holding my antique butter molds
  15. How do you keep your cats from playing with all the lovely buttons and threads. Have a new kitten and he tries to pick up the flower head pins with his mouth. Anything that moves with a bat of paw is fair game. I now have had to put loose stuff in boxes, etc.
    • I have found that to be a challenge! My 4 cats always have to be into what I'm making. Sometimes it's easier if I just close the door while I'm in my craft room to keep them out. One of my cats likes to pull the pins out of my pin cushion too...I had to put that away in the closet!!
