How To Make A Serving Tray with A Place Mat

A Christmas placemat sewn into a Holiday Serving Tray.  Great for table centerpieces.  It’s easy and inexpensive.  Im just a few simple steps you can create a serving tray using any place mat for any occasion.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

1 Square Placemat

1 Piece of fabric cut the same shape as the place mat

Double-side facing (important: use stiff facing)

pattern for cutting corners

Thread

For this project you should already know how to sew.  This is for beginners to advanced. The instructions are easy to follow, anyone who can sew can do this.

This is a fun project for any occasion.
