DIY Dry Erase Message Board from A Picture Frame
This Dry Erase Message Board is perfect for busy kitchens. Leave notes using this decorative message board made from a picture frame. Paint the glass any color to match your decor. Â Use a dry erase marker to leave notes and they easily wipe off with a dry cloth. Â Â
I find tons of picture frames at garage sales and the thrift store. This is a practical way to use them other than for pictures.
HOW TO MAKE A DRY ERASE MESSAGE BOARD
SUPPLIES:
Picture frame with the glass
Acrylic paint
Dry erase markers (you can get them at the dollar store)
Ribbon
Painted clothespin if you want to glue it on the frame for handy notes.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Clean the frame and glass.
Paint one side of the glass with acrylic paint. I used Americana Acrylic Paint, Indian Turquoise and these Foam Paint Brushes.
Let it dry thoroughly then give it another coat.
ASSEMBLY:
When it’s completely dry put the glass back in the frame with the painted side facing the back.
Hot glue a bow on top and a clothespin. (optional)
Use dry erase markers to write notes on the glass and easily wipe them off with a dry cloth.
